Commercial districts
Kolonaki
The meeting point of the elite Athenian community. You can encounter ultra modern as well as neoclassical boutiques of the greatest and world famous Greek and international fashion designers. Take a break at Kolonaki Square, walk through Anagnostopoulou, Skoufa, Tsakalof and Charitos
streets to get a glimpse of modern eveningwear, until you reach Voukourestiou street where
the largest international boutiques can be found.
Historic centre
At the historic centre of Athens, there is an immense collection of Greek souvenirs, arts & crafts,
from shoes and handbags to replicas of archeological monuments. Visit the famous bazaar in Monastiraki, at Avissinias street on Sundays and bargain on Greek antiques. Take a visit to
the small
shops on Athinas street that have a great variety of products. Try local produce
and flavors right from the barrels on Evripidou street. At the beginning of the Acropolis,
take a walk at Thiseio and Psiri areas where you will encounter lots of modern art galleries in
their small streets, as well as a multitude of trendy bars and restaurants.
Panepistimiou and
Stadiou street connect Syntagma with Omonoia. and you will find lots of large international stores,
